What this calculator tells you
An Amazon order can look profitable at the sticker price while referral, fulfillment, inbound, and product costs leave very little behind. This calculator puts those costs on the same order-level view.
When to use it
Use it before launching a variation, changing a price, moving a product into FBA, or approving a promotion that lowers the selling price.
Start with your landed cost, real fee rates, and a pessimistic advertising cost. The result is more useful when the assumptions are honest.
Using the referral fee alone leaves out fulfillment and inbound costs. Enter the current fee schedule for the specific marketplace and size tier.
Frequently asked questions
Are the default fee rates guaranteed?
No. They are example inputs only. Amazon fees vary by marketplace, category, size, weight, and program, so replace them with the current rates for your listing.
Should advertising cost be included?
This calculator focuses on Amazon fees and product cost. For a complete acquisition view, subtract advertising cost separately or use the profit margin calculator.
Why does the estimated payout differ from net profit?
The payout is what remains after Amazon fees. Net profit also subtracts your product cost, so it reflects the money the order contributes to your business.
